Healing of Past Painful Memories

A new series we are starting today to help individuals get a break through and be free from all painful past memories that are hindering them from receiving the prosperous kind of life God wants them to have.  This is taken from a booklet Dr. Lester Sumrall wrote in 1991 by LeSEA Publishing company. An excellent small booklet to keep with you and refer back to as you need it:

The main scriptural text for this series is Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just….think on these things. ”

Letting go of the past and your past mistakes, forgiving everyone who has wronged you and forgiving yourself is key to putting down bad memories and renewing your mind to the truth of God’s Word that you are forgiven once you have repented of your sins by God, and He does not beat us down with our past or our past mistakes. Once He forgives that’s it and He puts it into the sea of forgetfullness and remembers your sin no more.  Only your enemies, and Satan keep bringing up your past and your past mistakes and try to beat you down with them so that you can always feel defeated. Rise up today and forgive others, forgive yourself, ask God to help you put away all painful memories from your past and allow you to be the over comer you are called to be!  Amen.

Prayer of Salvation

Jesus forgive me of all my sins and come into my heart and save me and make me your child. I believe you are the Son of God and died on the cross for all my sins and rose on the third day. Thank you Jesus for saving me! Now fill me with your Holy Spirit & Fire with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives me utterance. Amen!

Prayer to Pray to Break any Generational Curse from Operating in your Life

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I come to You sincerely and with a desire to be free from the influence of all generational curses in my life right now.  I declare that because of what Jesus did for me on the cross of Calvary, I am cleansed and covered by the Blood of Jesus. The devil has no power over me.

I now confess all of my sins, known and unknown. I repent of them, right now, in the name of Jesus. I ask You to forgive me, and take back any jurisdiction I may have forfeited to the enemy right now.

In the Name of Jesus, I break the power and the hold of every curse that came to me through words spoke over me or negatively about me by anyone. I break the power and hold of every curse that has come to me through disobedience.

In the Name of Jesus, I renounce, break, and loose myself and my family from all demonic strongholds, psychic powers, witchcraft, bondages, addictions, rebellion, financial slavery, bonds of inherited physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental illnesses or curses upon me and my family line as a result of sins, transgressions, iniquities, occultic and/or psychic involvement of any member of my family line, living or dead.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare every legal hold and all legal ground of the enemy to be broken, silenced and destroyed right now. Satan no longer has jurisdiction to harass me or my family line through generational curses. Through the Blood of Jesus, I am free! Thank you heavenly Father, for setting me free right now!

I confess that my body, soul, and spirit are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. I am redeemed, cleansed, sanctified, and justified by the Blood of Jesus. Thank you heavenly Father, for setting me free! I surrender my will to You so use me for your glory in Jesus name AMEN.



Prayer of Repentance

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out all my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Create in me a clean heart O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit that I may teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners may be converted unto thee.

Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults and keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins that they might not have dominion over me. Then shall I walk uprightly and be innocent from the great transgression.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O Lord my strength and my redeemer. Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. Teach me to know thy ways O Lord I will walk in thy truth unite my heart to fear your name. In Jesus mighty name I pray. (Ps 51:1-2, 10-13, Ps. 19: 12-13, Ps. 36: 11, Ps. 86:11)

If you have prayed this prayer with genuine repentance, God has forgiven you and you need to move on and not park in your past. Forgive yourself and go in peace to continue to serve the Lord with all your heart.
